WeLoveU and Keller Williams Beautify Orange County Arboretum

On May 8, 2025, the International WeLoveU Foundation joined hands with Keller Williams First in New York to host a community volunteer event at the Orange County Arboretum, located in Thomas Bull Memorial Park in Montgomery, NY. The effort brought together over 40 volunteers to support environmental restoration through hands-on service.

Revitalizing the Gardens One Bed at a Time

Under bright skies and a shared sense of purpose, volunteers spent the afternoon clearing tulips and weeds from four garden beds across the arboretum. The initiative was part of the WeLoveU’s Clean WORLD Movement, a campaign dedicated to protecting and preserving the environment through volunteerism. For Keller Williams, the day held added meaning as part of its annual RED Day—a company-wide tradition where employees step away from their daily business to give back to their communities.

“Community service like this is extremely important,” said Tanya Garcia, Keller Williams broker. She continued, “Not only because it helps the community, it beautifies the community, and also the two organizations are working together collaboratively.”

“We have a diverse volunteer staff and we’re very fortunate today to have the WeLoveU Foundation and a big thank you to Chairwoman Zahng Gil-jah for supplying this army of people that are literally transforming this garden to what it should be,” said Horticulturalist Peter Patel. “It’s actually amazing for me to watch, saving so many hours of my lapr, my staff, and other volunteers, and it really just beautifies the place.”

A Shared Mission Over Lunch

Following the cleanup, the group gathered at a nearby pavilion to reflect and recharge. Melt, a local New York-based food truck, provided a delicious lunch that gave volunteers the chance to unwind and connect. The spirit of giving extended beyond the day’s activity. Many Keller Williams employees expressed interest in learning more about the WeLoveU Foundation’s mission and how they could get more involved in upcoming projects and initiatives.

A Foundation for Future Collaboration

The success of the day was not just in the weeded beds and cleared tulips—it was in the connections made and the commitment renewed to building a cleaner, kinder world. As one volunteer put it: “It’s amazing to be part of a worldwide effort to make the world cleaner and more beautiful. Also, to share the love of a mother throughout the whole world because this world really needs that right now,” said Blaire Patterson from New York.

“If the world all took one activity, one event, one community event to give back to, what a wonderful place the world would be,” said Elsie Nunez, Keller Williams Realtor. “I think that in my heart, we share the same beliefs that the WeLoveU Foundation shares and all we can do is grow together in leaps and bounds and be unified,” said Elsie Nunez from Keller Williams.
